has there been a more updated version? I can never seem to sell which is the latest that works with the dual band set up.

I have been running the 9011 on my e4200 since Victek released it without any issues. Why are you wanting to update? Are you having issues? I subscribe to the "if it isn't broken then no need to fix".

Will it ever or be close to entering out of the Beta stage? Specifically Victek's version? Latest being 9011. The last "official" release was back in Updated Oct 15. 2011 version 9007. i imagine plenty of fixes and improvements have been made since it is not to far away from a year ago.

I have not seen any of the current devs have anything other then beta for several years now.. They are constantly working on and adding features so never reach that "official" stage. My experience is the beta's are excellent. Especially partial to Victek's but have tried Toastman and Shibby. For me Victek's 9011 it is rock solid and, for what ever reason, seems to give the best throughput in my experience. By the way, I do not view "stable" the same as "official".

I really want to upgrade to 9011. Been using stock firmware since owning it and got it when it first came out. What spooks is the warning about possible unstable behavior. I depend on my router very much so and it needs to be rock solid. The stock firmware has been for me. I just want more features and only 3rd party firmware can give me that like Tomato.

Unless you are doing something "odd" I think 9011 would work well for you. Keep in mind were the devs are coming from in their comments. They cannot test all combinations of what someone might try to do so they make the"possible unstable" statement which I would to in their place. Most of the devs are like Toastman that support a network of these devices for use by many users. They create these for their use and then share. So if they feel it is good enough for their use they post it for our use. Also gives them a way of further testing as some folks will do combinations they have not tested.
I have never had any issues with any of Victek's builds. They just work. May not have all the fancy stuff in his but I do not need things like lots of QOS settings that are in other builds.
