I had a great deal of trouble some time ago setting up my linksys router with my dell laptop. I finally found a linksys support tech who could help me and we wound up changing the registry on my laptop to always find the linksys router. Now I no longer have a linksys router, but my neighbor does and my machine constantly disconnects from my router and tries to connect to his.

I have selected my router in with windows XP and it is the only router selected but still my laptop looks for the linksys. Does anyone know the proper cmd prompts so I can delete the linksys and let XP select the router???

    thx, dave

beofre you make any changes to the regestry make sure you back it up. if you delete the wrong or important registery key it can make you pc useless!!!!

now that being said i looked and searched my registery for anything linksys but i only found this: HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>FRISBEE_PROFILE>linksys
    now you should see this,
