I'm searching for a long time for a solution for this one.

I have a Linksys RPT300 router and public IP address assigned for this router. This router connects my computer with the internet. I would like to be able to wake on lan this computer via internet.

When I, with this freeware application:

wake-on-lan magic package from LAN (another computer connected to the same router) specyfying the local ip address, my computer wakes up as he suposed to do.

I've turned on Static IP on Linksys and forwarded port 34999 to 9 (UDP and TCP).
But if I set "Internet" option in this application, paste my public IP, set subnet mask to (the same as the one in the router configuration) and set port to 34999, nothing happen.

As I red here, on this forum, the same task - to enable WOL - on other routers needs something more to do, going to Diagnostics and put some two lines to enable WOL. But I cant find any option to execute any lines.

Is there any possiblity to enable wake on lan via internet with this router? Please help, I've run out of ideas and google :sheesh:

    Oh... and one more thing:

    Router description:
    Linksys RTP300
    Firmware Version: 3.1.17
