Not sure if anyone has this yet but I was given this firmware which supports QuickVPN just like the RV082. I don't have a list of any other added features or bug fixes. Since the guy that gave this to me doesn't want to respond about bugs even though he asked me to email him, here it is for whomever wants it.

THIS FIRMWARE IS BETA, if you didn't get that from the subject. Thus if it causes any unexpected issues with your setup I will not be at fault, use at your own risk!

    Linksys RV042 firmware

    Hi,

Thanks for the link to the v1.3.3 BETA firmware. I installed it into the RV042 and just tested the QuickVPN client with it. Works great!

It looks like Linksys added the HTTPS service in the Firewall tab (enabled by default) and the "VPN Client Access" section in the VPN tab. In any case, after upgrading, rebooting, and configuring that section, I had no problems creating a VPN connection with a laptop through an RV082 to the RV042 connected to another IP address on our external WAN.

If you also happen to have the GPL code for this latest BETA firmware, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

    RV042 v.1.3.3 and Quick VPN

    Hi Jorge98,

Can you please post how to setup the RV042 with QVPN? I need to be able to access from anywhere...(Dial up, behind a NAT, etc...) I have just downloaded and installed the 1.3.3 firmware and downloaded QVPN. I'm not able to connect at all. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

as he said, i have tried 1.3.3 and now the official 1.3.6.4 and am no further ahead than before...

i am really starting to wonder how a normal user would be able to use this given the amount of time i have spent on this thing...
