Linksys RV042 Load Balancing Issue

Hi l am currently using a Linksys RV042 with firmware version 1.3.12.19. The Router is setup for load balancing across two identical ADSL Services. For some reason at intermittent times one of the wan ports changes to "disconnected" and internet access is only available through the other adsl service coming off "wan 2 " which is connected !!

Rebooting the RV042 fixes the issue but only for a certain time before the port goes back into a "disconnected" state. I have tried disconnecting the patch between wan1 and the adsl router and even rebooting this adsl router but to no avail !!

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for the reply.. I believe the MTU's on the wan ports are the default settings of 1500. I will also check the upstream ADSL routers aswell.

for ADSL they should really be 1492 or lower.

So would this be a possibility why one of the adsl connections to the RV042 would be getting disconnected ?

disconnection could be this due to mtu size creating packet loss and timeout issues. its just a guess but possible
