Hello all... This is my first post to this forum. Thanks for the advice in advance. Background: Currently I am using a FVX538 router with multihomed nat in our place of business (about 75-100 nodes with 12 VPN tunnels to remote offices). The 2.xx firmware on the FVX538 requires a reboot every 1-2 days (no internet or ping the inside router). Nevertheless, the good feature of the router is it allows my to converge the 192.168.0.0/24 and 192.168.2.0/24 networks so that can communicate via a LAN multi-homed setup. I am looking for another device that will complete this process (for 2-3 years). Question: Will the Linksys RV082 do this? I do not need failover via 2 WAN ports.... just the ability to do the following: 1. Portforward 4 TCP port to inside LAN (i know this works) 2. 12 Site-to-site tunnels (i know this works- 50 tunnels aval) 3. LAN Multihomed setup (???????) I know most people use a Core switch with VLAN(s) via Layer 3 to handle the routing. I am just looking for a temp solution until we build a new facility. Thanks!
