Hope someone can help me. I have got a Linksys Wireless G USB Network Adaptor connected to my PC and a WRT54G wireless router connected to my Telewest cable modem.

The Network Adaptor intermittently loses connection to the router. I have tried changing the frequency in the router setup, however this does not resolve the problems. The router is positioned on top of my TV with no obstructions between the router and the wireless USB network adaptor.

Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions of what might be causing this?

I'm sure that putting it on top of your TV isn't helping matters...

do you know what version of firmware and what version of WRT54G your using, i'd start with upgrading the firmware in case they fixed any bugs, or reverting back to an old version if you recently upgraded the router already.

Have you tried connecting any other devices to the network? if they disconnect its obviously something with the router/settings otherwise the NIC itself (or nic driver)
