A friend bought a wps54g wireless print server to go with his belkin pre-n router. He then asked me to hook it up for him. I can get into the router (while wired into it) to change settings but no matter what i do i can't get the wireless combination to work. Any help or advice on what to do or try would be greatly appreciated.

you should be able to logon using the IP address of the Printer server. do you know the IP address? also you need to enable Apple Talk or NetBEUI Protocol in your network adaptors settings.

have you tried the Quick Installed Setup guide in pdf format on http://www.linksys.com/downloads/ ?

I can get into the print server with an ethernet cable, set all the appropriate settings, it even sees the printer. I can get through the entire quick setup until
the part where you power down and remove the ethernet cable. Upon powering
up, no recognition of the network. Appletalk is not applicable but the netbeui protocol might be. where is that changed? In the router? Or elsewhere? Thanks in advance for your help.

What encryption are you using on the Belkin pre-n router? The WPS54G only supports WPA TKIP. Are you using SSID broadcast? The key must be in hexadecimal, since Linksys devices only support hexadecimal keys no ASCII.
