Recently had Roadrunner broadband installed. Bought a WRT54GC and used Linksys setup CD. Followed instructions. Router hardwired to Toshiba laptop (Windows XP home SP2). Setup software asks for manual configuration. Info from Roadrunner tech support states that DHCP to be used. WEP 64 enabled during setup. Once setup completed, no internet connection thru IE6. Have disabled Norton Internet Security and Norton Antivirus 2004 during setup- makes no difference. Have recycled sequentially (cable modem, then router, then computer)- no difference. Communicated with Linksys support via email several times. No solution. Would appreciate any insights into problem and its solution. Did manage to contact the router internet configuration site once; set all parameters, but there was no button to exit the site. This connection was very slow (for broadband) and I don't know it it was a true configuration attempt.

Check the Gateway IP address in the network setup

Check the Gateway IP address in the network setup.
I believe that it now should be (the IP of the router)

you may have to use mac id cloning to clone the original computer that it was set up on. This has happened to me before with Roadrunner.
