Okay I am trying to setup access restrictions and when access restrictions is enabled my internet connection slows to a crawl. So, I called linksys and they had me go back from firmware 2.38.6 to 2.36 and it seemed to fix the problem for a little while. Okay I have the computers on my network setup statically and the DHCP server disabled so on the edit pc list I have ip's 192.168.2.1 through 192.168.2.10 ebtered. So this would leave mean those pc's have full access and every other pc is restricted to my settings under the access restrictions tab right? Or do I enter the pc on the edit list that I don't want restricted. The way i have it setup works but it restricts all computers regardless of what the IP is or if it's on the edit PC list. I am confused because now because the computers on teh edit pc list can access but the other computers are slow on the internet. So should I reactivate the DHCP server and use mac address filtering instead? The mac addresses I enter in the edit PC list should be the ones I want to restrict right? That way any macs I don't eneter will not be restricted right? This should be simple but it does not work for shit.
