    Hi everybody,

Here are is one of my v5 problems.

I have a network of 2 WRT54G-v2 (running satorie) and 1 AP with hyperWAP. This network works great. (last time i looked it said: 32 days up) But now we want to expand our network to 1 WRT54G more. Yet to an other building. except this one damned is v5. There aren't others any more, went by every store.
Anyhow. IS there a possability that i can connect this new v5 router to the network with the orriginal linksys software.?

    Anyone expirience with this.

If one router has wds and the other not, can they communicate?
can 2 wrt-v5 routers communicate to eachother without 3th party software.

are you wanting to connect it to the existing net with a cable or through wireless or WDS?

You can get a WRT54GL (Linux) from most on-line retailers, ie; Newegg, ZipZoomFly, etc. You can also find good used and often new older model (pre-v.5) WRT's on ebay for very reasonable prices. You are by no means stuck with the white elephant (reads v.5)!!!
