Load Balancing and uTorrent

I recently found out that I will have two DSL connections available in my house. I want to load balance the two connections using the tomato firmware. I know that if I do this, it will not increase my download speeds, but will allow me to have two simultaneous downloads without limiting the other. My question is: Does this also apply to torrents? Torrents have multiple connections, so could one download reach the speed of both lines combined?

i think what you want is MLPPP but it must also be supported by the provider.

MLPPP doubles his speed. It sounds like what he wants is load balancing.

Load balancing would work with multiple DSL lines, Cable lines, etc.; every connection created goes through whichever line has the least traffic at that moment (or sometimes it's just round-robin), which is awkward because speeds may vary between connection types and IPs may be different from connection to connection to the same site or server.

I think some load balancing setups detect the port and pipe everything through one line, but it still isn't flawless because of the unbalanced speeds issue. (Which doesn't apply in this case, I suppose. :) )
