Using tomato 1.19 and now 1.21 on an Asus WL500gp. Getting 1.2MB/sec transfers.

One PC and a 2 laptops all with G WIFI.

I tried with no encryption, without broadcasting SSD. Set it to mixed, G only etc.

This is between all computers on the WLAN. All getting 'excellent' signal.

    I'm at a loss.. help?

Wireless G claims a signalling rate of 56Mbps, but the maximum real LAN to WLAN transfer throughput is around 25Mbps (maybe +35% with speedbooster/afterburner), there's lots of overhead which increases with number of clients/noise from neighbours. Wireless is half-duplex which means only send or receive, not both at same time, so wireless to wireless transfers of 1.2MBps probably just the limitation of wireless-G. Try a wireless to wired transfer - should be twice as fast.
