I just tried to put sveasoft alchemy 1.0 on my router and now it isnt spitting out IP addresses and I cant connect to the web interface so I need to reset it to factory defaults. The board for 1.0 is much different than later versions and i cant find the pins. Would this method be my best hope for fixing this router? If anyone can walk me through this on aim or msn that would be great too

I unplugged the pci? card and think I found the flash chip but i dont see any numbers on mine. How do they do the numbering on the 1.0?

I had a 1.0 I ended up throwing it out in disgust (after stealing the miniPCI card) I just couldn't get it to go... I wasn't able to get it back up though mine wouldn't even bring up the switch so I think mine was more cooked than most...
hopefully someone has the info you need (or you could buy a new one like me :p)

yeah i dont think mine is fried...being a broke college student i think i can recover this board. what does that mini pci card
    do?
Here is an image of the card I think the flash chip is the chip partially covered by the mini pci...does this help?

thats where I thought my flash chip was, I put the minipci card in my laptop and am using the external antenna with it for better range...
unfortunately I don't know what pins that you need to short on the 1.0 maybe someone else knows?

    hey guy
maybe you could give bellrb19 some instruction on how to remove the pci mini card. the he could post some pics of the board without the min pci board.
