Log all DHCP clients that connect on Tomato

Is there a way to log all computers which connect to the router (MAC address and timestamp?) I've been searching around and read about 1/4 of all the FAQ (for bandwidth, logging, cron jobs, etc), but havn't found anything specific enough yet.

Basically, I want the information logged.

And along those lines, is it possible to log to a mounted USB drive (Asus WL-520gU) rather than to RAM?

Go to Administration -> Logging and check DHCP Client.

In case you might have a tomato version in which logging of DHCP has not been enabled - enter "log-dhcp" in advanced - DHCP text box, save, and reboot. (remove the "")

Tried that before, tried that again just now (with reboot), and still nothing.

I'm not sure what you're talkinga bout, since I don't have that menu option. I also tried running "log-dhcp" in system commands (Tools > System), but it says: /tmp/.wxZCVuSQ: line 5: log-dhcp: not found

What I'm primarily looking for is a way to have the computer (and associated MAC/IP) be shown in the logs whenever it connects to the router (even better if it shows when it disconnects too).

I'm running Tomato ND, teddy_bear mod for USB support on WL-520gU

try "dnsmasq --log-dhcp" as a system command

This command will dump a lot of useful information, maybe too much for normal use.
