Sorry if this has been answered before, but tried searching and it doesn't seem to be working for me. Trying to figure out how to get logging working to a local usb hdd, and to actually log something...
The router has been running for several days, with time etc all set correctly after it's initial startup, and going into logs, there is only a minimal amount of entries (couple of pages?) with the last entry dated Jan 1 10:00:17, and saying "syslogd exiting", so I am assuming that the log only ran for 17 seconds?? then exited...
I THINK I have setup logging to "log internally" and log connections etc, but nothing seems to be happening...
    So I s'pose 2 questions:
1/ How to get logging working, and
2/ How to get it to log to the usb drive....

    Thanks, john.

    Edit: Also running optware....
