While I know tomato firmware has login credentials that allow an user to control the router, since I know tomato firmware is Unix/Linux based I was wondering..

If there was a way to create login credentials for tomato but read only/restricted access to the router's controls, so that the user can not control or view the admin login credentials in tomato firmware?

If not, how about a Status page that is not password protected? Here are some examples kind of info would be on a Status page without a password: Wireless enabled or disabled, wireless encryption enabled or "wide open", UPnP enabled or UPnP Disabled.

    Thank you

There is currently no support for this in the custom webserver that drives Tomato. It is not Apache/nginx/thttpd/something common, it is a custom creation.

Is there going to be support for this?

    Not likely.
