Well there is sort of third party support it only includes 2.4ghz drivers and none for 5ghz. Linksys uses a different 5ghz driver and don't wish to part with info on it so any third party firmware can only have run on the router. Shame really since its one of the fastest booting routers i seen in recent years and quite robust. Ohh the humanity...lol Least the stock firmware is now stable if under impressive.
