Hi, i have tested firmware 1.01.22 and 1.01.15 on Multimode modulation but it connects and in few seconds (in t.1413 modulation), the adsl line goes down, few seconds more and connection online and down again after few seconds, is not an ISP fault because with the other router (Comtrend ct-536+) work ok, but can't setup ftp server, my Attenuation (dB): 48.0 (download) 23.8 (upload), before changed to ADSL2+ was 43db.
    Thanks a lot.

    Hi,

I don't understand, with 48dB there is no big difference between ADSL and ADSL2+ !

Did you try to use G.dmt instead of Multimode ?

Will test G.dmt later, anyway my isp connection is ADSL2+ with 20MB/1024, i can't get that speed because the distance to the central.
    Thanks

check our provider are they using Broadcom IP DSLAM. If yes, then there is a compablity issue between TI (texas instrument) chipset ADSL2/2+ modem

I have talked with Linksys, and they change my wag54g v2 for a wag354g, i hope that this one can handle ADSL2+.

marcelg, do you have a Wanadoo DSL connection? I have the same problem here, at Cerdanyola. At night is almost impossible to synchronize... at morning it only needs a few seconds...
I think it is Linksys fault because I have a Thomson SpeedTouch 530 and it always connects...

Let me know if the WAG354G does not have the problem.

Is the 20Mb connection? Let me know how it works.

I have the Wanadoo 20Mb connection, but only works at 4Mb for now.

I like it :D , i'm at 1.5 km(or more) from the central and i get 7500/820 on the router panel, no problems till now, i have tested some linux iso dvd's and i get from some places nearly at 700kb/s, more or less is like a 6Mb from jazztel but my upload(i get more than 60kb/s) is higher.

Well now i have the exchanged wag354g, but problem still the same, even with the new firm 1.1.05, the operator say that on that new firm i can choice the modulation on the setup screen but i can't see that option, they gonna change me the router again for another wag354g, i can believe that linksys can make a firm to make those wag54g v2, wag354g and oters router adsl2+ compatible.
Seems a the never ending story.
