    Hi All,

Last night, I noticed I had no internet access. I was connected to the LAN, and I showed as having an IP from my ISP (Fairpoint (formerly Verizon Fios)). I tried everything to get it going to no avail. I thought it might be the ISP but they said they were good, no issues. In desperation, I reflashed to the latest Stock asus firmware, and I immediately was back on the internet.

Tonight, I reflashed back to Tomato, same version with 64k nvram, and at first I had the issue - couldn't get out. But I hadn't reset NVRAM after flashing yet. I did that and then came back online.

If this happens again, I'll first try blowing away NVRAM before resorting to going back to Asus firmware, but has anyone experienced this? This is on an RT-N66U.

i haven`t issues with my rtn66u. I have WAN as DHCP. First what you should do was clean NVRAM!

When I first installed it, I did clear nvram. What I was saying is when I reinstalled, it was after I cleared that it started working. But it shouldn't have lost connection the first time (in which case I did clear NVRAM before starting to use it - it ran for 5 days before the issue).

Unless it was an ISP issue, but I can't prove or disprove that right now.
