Lost Wireless on WRT54G

I have a WRT54G v2 that was flashed with DD-WRT v23 SP2 (09/15/06) std - build 3932 several years ago. It has worked flawlessly since flashing.

Last evening we had some sort of power issue in our home where we lost power momentarily and may have had surge. This morning none of our computers could connect by wireless (WLAN light on front of router not lit) and I could not get into the GUI when I connected to the router by cable. Finally, I pushed the reset and then I was able to access the GUI.

I have set the wireless settings for SSID broadcast on channel 7, but the WLAN light is still not lit, and in the Status tab under Wireless of the GUI it shows unknown for Radio, Channel, and Rate. But, under the Wireless Packet Info on that same screen shows Tx and Rx packets being transmitted without errors.

So have I missed a setting someplace to get the wireless functioning again or has that been fried?

It's weird how a power cycle event would cause wireless to go down but everything else still seems to function fine. You could try doing a reset on the box and then re enter your settings..... For what it's worth I have a WRT54G router that the wireless does not work on very well at all but the rest of the router works fine. I've had it up and running for almost a year without a reboot using Tomato firmware. I have another box set up as the AP anyway so this one works strictly as a wired router/switch for the network. I don't know what happened to the box but one day wireless had very low signal and was unreliable.
