Maximum PPTP connections on BEFSR41???

    Hi,

    I have two separate identical (up to the LAN side of the routers) networks in the same building, each with their own T1:

    (T1)1 --- 1(BEFSR41 v4.3)1 --- 1(Unicom 24-port 10/100 switch)1 --- *(workstations)

    Note: "1 --- 1" = one-to-one, "1 --- *" = one-to-many

    These two networks are identical except that folks on one use Cisco IPSec clients, and the others on the second network use PPTP connections. Let's call them network 1 and 2 , respectively.

    The VPN passthrough is set appropriately for each network. Network 1 has no problems with maintaining multiple IPSec VPN connections. Network 2, however, seems as though it cannot maintain more than a small number of PPTP VPN connections; only three, I think. Folks that are already logged in are getting kicked off the VPN when new users login.

    Is there a limitation on the maximum number of simultaneous PPT VPN tunnels that can pass through the BEFSR41 v4.3?

    If so, can you recommend a wired router that CAN handle up to 30 PPTP connections? I can't seem to find any clear information on this from Linksys; only info on IPSec.
