Memory Usage Reduction, maybe

I have a script that I use for changing the colour of the led when I am Wan connected.

For ages I ran this at startup, however recently in response to a thread about placing this sort of script in WAN section, I placed my script in the WAN section and over time noticed the memory dropping from 8 meg to 5 meg.

Running top showed multiple processes for the script.

Moving it back to Startup gets the memory stable above 8 meg.

    Any one else experienced this?

The WAN UP script run every time the WAN comes UP, the firewall script runs just before WAN comes up. Yes others have reported it, its surprising how much memory some bash commands can consume.
