    Hi,

when I returned from my holiday I noticed that my Tomato Router has been reset I think,
now I just have the general wifi signals: Tomato24 & Tomato50
    I use a Asus RT AC66U btw,

I tried to connect wirelessly to the Tomato24 and enter 192.168.1.1 in my browser but it doesn't work.
Can somebody help me how I can get this back up right please?
It's been a while since I installed the router...

    thanks in advance!

If the router has been completely reset to defaults, then you'll need to set a static IP on your computer before trying to connect to the web GUI. Something like 192.168.1.5 .. then connect to the router and attempt to access the web GUI at 192.168.1.1 .

Try to reset the router manually and proceed through the process

    Thanks a lot Sean,
I changed to static IP, I was able to connect.
What else do I need to do to be able to connect to the router, shouldn't I enable DHCP? and but my ip back to automatic?
    thanks

You're welcome. And yes, enabling DHCP in the router configuration will allow client devices to connect to the network without having a static IP configured.
