Can someone modify and recompile Thibor 15c for me?

I need the default password when hard reset is activated, instead of 'admin' to something else. And I want the wireless off as a default when resetted.

why can't you modify and recompile that yourself, the changes are minimal and would take a matter of seconds to implement. just change the necessary variables in default.c and compile and your away.

On your site, it says it needs Linux, but I don't have it. Can it be compiled using Windows OS?

Try cygwin or use Microsoft Virtual PC (free) and install a copy of Linux inside it and compile from that.

I am pretty new at this. I need someone to guide me so I know what I am doing. I should get the cygwin and compile it?

Re compilation. I tried and failed with Cygwin, I think you need a linux disk partition at least - you'd be better off buying a second hard-disk to install a single CD linux OS and dual boot. Thibor's guide is actually about the best basic one you will get - but you still need to know a few basics of Linux (ie logically link directories and manipulate and "export" the path variable)- I gave up but now have a linux machine to learn on - when I get round to it!

I never used linux before. So that could be a problem. I will try to install a linux os on my other computer.

see, here's the thing. i don't mind helping you to help yourself, but i am not(and don't think many other would be either) willing to just do it for you. a large part of the joy of this sort of thing is learning how to do it yourself and the satisfaction gained from seeing it work as you designed.

Get yourself a version of Linux and play with it. That is where the fun is............. playing with it, modifying it.

I started using Linux in 1999 and have never looked back.

You can take a look at http://distrowatch.com and find a version of Linux that you like.
