    Hello People,
I decided to change our office's routers from the current WRT54GS v1.1. Anybody can give me an advise what's the best router in terms of reliability? if Linksys...what model?

I need reliability because the router is going to serve 7-10 clients at the same time during office hours. Moreover, it will be on 24 hours (duhh!).
I have had good time with WRT54GS. I got so many options of firmware to patch the router on.

The problem is, there is no more WRT54G and GS old version. They only carry the new version (v5 for G and v6 for GS). So, do I have any good alternative? Hmm..I know this is funny, but I am open to Dlink and Netgear as well...

    Thank You

The WRT54GL is basically the same router as the old version of the WRT54G.

I am using it with HyperWrt firmware and it is solid as a rock.

Why are you changing from the WRT54GS v1.1?

because I think I have faulty WRT54GS v1.1 after one year usage. It cannot get IP for LAN clients but can assign IP just OK for WLAN clients. So, I think it's time to buy a new one. The question is...what model?

If you just want an equivalent to the WRT54G, then the WRT54GL that I mentioned earlier is the way to go. This is a currently produced product by Linksys. Dell sells them for approx $65.
