move log to /mmc?

Currently I have tomato-slodki-1.25.01 w/ sdhc/mmc and vpn support installed on my WRT54GL router, which also has the sd card mod. It's been running great with Verizon $19/mo DSL for over a year.

At some point I searched online a lot trying to figure out how to install some of the optware software on the router but all the optware packages seem to be built by using 2.6 (k26) kernel toolchain.

Since I did not find anything indicating that the optware package can be used with tomato firmware w/ WRT54GL so I feel like the sd mod is kind of pointless. I moved the bandwidth monitoring data to /mmc (sd card) but could not figure out how to do the same with the system log file.

    Any ideas?

You can put the script below in Scripts -> Init

    Thanks for the suggestion.

That brings another topic. I wonder if there is going to be a tomato mod that is built from 2.6 kernel, support sd/mmc, and the image is less than 4mb. I am sure that will be very useful for people with 4mb nvram routers(wrt54* series) who would like to extend their router's functionality through optware.
