    What's up with this?

I just turned my PC on and noticed the "Local Area Network" icon in the task bar had a red "X", therefore I looked up at my Lnksys wireless router to find the power LED was on, but very dim, and the red "Diag" LED on continuously. The Wall Power Supply is outputting +5Vdc and the reset button has no effect. Am I looking at dumping more money into another Linksys piece of crap (again)???

    What version WRT?
    Are you running custom firmware?
When did you last flash it?
Did you try a hard reset?
Have you gone through the debricking guides?
Have you tried a different power supply (like a friends or something)?

5V...must be a WRT54Gv1.0. A forum search will reveal they have a history of bad power supplies. I discovered this after I bought two GS v1.1's.

You can probbaly get it back by just buying a new Power Supply. OR (search my threads) rip out the miniPCI and stick it in a Notebook and with a new PS you can still use the WRT54G as a wired Hub or Switch. Of course you will need a new router though .... :)
