    Hi, first off, great firmware!

Can anyone tell me how i can change the umask for root?

I want to be able to scp files to my nas200 as root and have all users have read+write access. I could just "chmod 666" the files i upload but it would be nice if it automatic.

Try to create a file with name ".profile" (without the quotes of course) in root´s home directory. Inside the file put "umask 000" (again without the quotes), save it and re-login with root. It should work.
Remember that by doing this all users will have rw access to new files and rwx access to new directories that root creates, from a security point of view is not good.

Try "Set permissions" option in "Upload Options" in "Transfer" section of WinSCP preferences. I never tested it, may be it will do the trick.
