Sure would love being able to have a NAT-PMP option as well as a UPnP option. Should be fairly simple considering this project http://miniupnp.free.fr/

None of the Tomato mods currently have this feature as far as I am aware.

It is clear from the Tomato sources the author Jon has tested miniupnpd, and Victek is considering for a future version of his mod (already used in Tarifa). But why do you want NAT-PMP? The only app I found I have that I can test with miniupnpd NAT-PMP is uTorrent. Miniupnpd has a number of other benefits such as port range/per IP restriction, secure mode, old rule cleaning etc, but when I last looked lacked the Tomato option of hiding the upnp icon in windows.

I agree, the applications that support NAT-PMP are not terribly widespread, at least in the Windows world. I do like NAT-PMP for uTorrent, Bonjour services, and because it is a more elegant implementation of UPnP. I certainly like the options for "secure mode" and "rule cleaning" as in Tarifa firmware, but confess that I don't know anything about the option to stop the network icon broadcast in Windows feature.
