Need help configuring router (WRT54G v.3)

I just purchased a WRT54G router and network card a few days ago. It is replacing a D-link 624 router. Previously, both of the computers (The home computer which I am posting from, and my own computer which is not connected yet) were located upstairs near the modem and I just ran a cable to my computer (which was in the room over).
(This is just background info to help describe whats going on :p)

Anyways, I had to move my computer downstairs and had to get the router set up and get the wireless network running. At first, I had some problems in that I could not connect to the internet while the computer was directly connected to the modem, but a simple reset and reinstall of the Verizon DSL software took care of that.

At first I just used the Wizard that comes with the router to get everything set up. I get to the part where it configures the router aftet you put in the information on your setup, and ithas to connect to the internet through the router. Only problem is it wont connect and I get this screen everytime I try it this way. [IMG]
Ive posted on another forum, and tried the stuff they told me to do, with no luck at all. I've gone into the settings, cloned the MAC address, changed all sorts of stuff around, updated firmware, and various other things upon various people's suggestions. No luck at all yet.

Any help in getting this thing set up would be GREATLY apprectiated.
I'm using Verizon DSL for my ISP, a Westell 2200 modem, and obviously, the Linksys WRT54G v.3 router. I have already got the network card in my computer running, and have managed to get the wireless network up as well. I just can't get an internet connection on this thing for the life of me. Thanks MUCH in advance for the help :)
If you need more info, feel free to ask. :)
