Ok I need some help connecting my 3 WRT54G routers together using tofu 7 via wds. I have 1 ver.2.2 and 2 ver.3's. It works fine and dandy with two of the routers configured but as soon as I connect the third it goes nuts (as in transmits a whole bunch of nothing and LEDs going crazy on all routers) and I cannot access the web through the third router. I have all three routers configured as wds-ap, Bridge restrict = enabled and the other two routers mac addresses entered under Remote Bridges. SSID same on all three and channel the same on all three. Is it even possible to connect three together or am I just wasting my time.

    Sorry for the long post.

telnet into the routers and set the following variable to prevent wds loop. "nvram set lan_stp=1;nvram commit"

Thanks but I set it up differently and it seems to work so far.
This is how I set it up. Wrt(A) connected to cable modem with mac addresses of wrt(b) and wrt(c) in the Remote bridges slots. On wrt(B) I have the mac address of wrt(A) only in the remote bridges slot. On wrt(C) I have the mac address of wrt(A) only also in the remote bridges slot. Wrt(A) is in my bedroom, wrt(B) is in my living room and wrt(C) is upstairs. All still have the same SSID same WEP key and same channel. Cross my fingers and hope it will stand the test of time. But I still have another problem with my wireless card, where it over heats and stops working, but thats another problem for another forum I'm sure. Gotta love forums, they are the free 24hr tech support that I can afford.
