I have an office that has a T1 line coming in to a propriatry router. Inside the office I have a Linksys BEFSX41 that acts as the DHCP server(WAN port connected to T1 providers router). Most of the computers are connected to 16port hubs. I'd like to add a new router to the mix, which is a Linksys WRV54G for VPN (I have a static address for both internal routers) Here's what I tried: T1 router (gateway address - 220.127.116.11) BEFSX41 has an external address (18.104.22.168) Internal 192.168.1.1 Connected WRV54G (in router mode) to hub (1 cable to LAN, 1 cable to WAN) LAN address 192.168.1.199 WAN address 22.214.171.124 DHCP is OFF Problem: I can't ping the 126.96.36.199 address from anywhere! I can get to the WRV54G 192.168.1.199 setup page, though. What I want to do is leave the BEFSX41 the way it is and have the WRV54G allow VPN from the outside. Is this connected correctly?
