Hey all. I am new to linsysinfo.org and I am stuck trying to set up my WRT54G as a bridge. My current set up is this: Router: WRT54G #1 Using Alchemy 6.0Rc1 w42 Internet Connection type: Auto Config - DHCP ip:192.168.0.1 subnet: 255.255.255.0 gateway: 192.168.0.1 DHCP server:enabled Wireless Network: AP Wireless Mode: Mixed SSID: Venomnet Channel: 6 Wireless security disable for the setup Router: WRT54G #2 Using Alchemy 6.0Rc1 w42 Internet Connection type: disabled ip:192.168.0.2 subnet: 255.255.255.0 gateway: 192.168.0.1 DHCP server:disabled Wireless Network: Client I ticked the bridge mode instead of routed. Wireless Mode: Mixed SSID: Venomnet Channel: 6 Wireless security disable for the setup Turned off the firewall Turned off loopback. Now my problem is setting up the second router. When I change the routers ip to 192.168.0.2 or whatever number (192.168.0.x). I can not log back into that router when I try and access it from a web browser, plus the bridge does not work. I assume my problem is how I wire the routers during the setup. I currently have router #2 plugged into router #1 during the setup and I have my laptop plugged into one of the Lan ports on the second router to configure it. The only way I was able to get the bridge working was this setup as proposed by euser4life - http://www.linksysinfo.org/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=1158&highlight=bridge The problem with his setup, is now I have two internal networks and I would be unable to access my file/mp3 server b/c it is on the 192.168.0.x network and the bridge is on the 192.168.100.1 network. Please help me. I want to get this working. Thanks .
