Hi guys, my name is Ron and I'm new to the forum and need some help with a problem I'm having.
I live in Reno, NV and my Mothers husband has a sheet metal shop in San Diego.
They have 3 computers that I help them with remotely. I bought them an Asus WL-520UG and installed dd-wrt on it and everything was good! …until it crashed.
I had them send it back to me and was getting ready to reset dd-wrt again when I happened to look at Tomato, well I really liked it and installed it on the 520ug. I set the static ip and the dns’s just like the dd-wrt and sent it back. Yesterday he installed the new router booted it up and I logged on from a browser at my place. I forwarded ports for “remote desktop” and logged on to the server. J Everything was working great till I clicked on a browser and couldn’t get on the internet. L I looked through all the settings in Tomato and for the life of me I can’t find the problem. I have restarted the router a couple times to no avail. It seems like I’m just missing one little thing.
Any help would be much appreciated!!!
