Hello! I'm living in a house with slow internet with two housemates who don't understand the concept of sharing. I finally got sick of dealing with unuseable internet while they're slamming it with their torrents so I've gone and downloaded a mod of the Tomato firmware with an IP-based bandwidth/connection limiter (this one, to be exact http://www.linksysinfo.org/index.ph...ter-for-tomato-mod-release-user-manual.26670/ ). Only problem is, it's not working. I'm just testing it on my own IP at the moment and no matter how much I limit it through the firmware the limit never kicks in and I can download/upload at full speed. I've got my PC as a static IP at 192.168.1.2 and I've done the usual troubleshooting things like clearing the NVRAM and configuring everything from scratch but it's still not working. Is there anything obvious I might be overlooking? Thanks!

Hello and welcome to the board, what's your router model and tomato version used?

OK, download and upgrade to this firmware version through tomato Upgrade option, then erase all nvram contents and configure.

Sorry for the late reply, I had to go to sleep. I've updated to that firmware and erased the nvram and it's working perfectly now. Thank you very much for your help :)
