Need help with RV042 VPN w/QuickVPN

I am able to connect using QuickVPN to one RV042 but not to another. Attempts are made from the same client computer each time.

On the connection which fails the wget_error.txt file shows:

Connecting to ..... [IP].60443... failed: No such file or directory.

For what it's worth, telnetting to port 60443 on the RV042 which DOES work results in a connected socket, but telnetting to 60443 on the RV042 which does NOT work results in a failed connection. I presume QuickVPN treats the socket as a file handle, thus the file IO error.

Both RV042's are running the same firmware version and I have compared settings from router to router. The other settings are the same, except for some different port forwarding, and the one which does NOT work uses some one-to-one NAT's and access rules under Firewall, but none of those involve the primary IP of the router.

    Any thoughts anyone?

Is nat taking place on the network you are connecting from? Direction my intial thought is translations may not have completely timed out and its causing issues. I suppose a way to test it is to connect to the one you cannot connect too first. If you do connect, and when you try to connect to the other it does not work, reboot your border router and try again to the one that didnt work, if it now does then thats probably it.

If that does not do it, i am at a loss at this time but will continue to chew on it.

No NAT's on the network I'm connecting from. It's consistent that I can connect to one, but not the other, all without any rebooting. I'm not certain, but cannot help but think it has something to do with the lack of a socket accept on port 60443.

Might very well be, and at this point i dont have a clue but will see if i can find anything on it.

I got it working. I print-screened all the settings on the pages I changed for anything, restored to factory settings, then put everything else back. Now it works.

    Thanks for your help.
