This is what i want to do:

The last router on the right should have an IP of 192.168.1.3....my bad.

I'm using DD-WRT 22 on all three routers, and all the routers are version 3.0.

In the Wireless WDS section, the routers have the mac addresses of the other computers that this router should be talking to, correct? If that's the case, the middle router should have two entries. Does order matter? I have yet to get this to work. I originally had wds working with 2 routers, but as soon as i added a third to the mac list in router 2, i could no longer ping it and had to reset the router.

Also, on the router status screen, the MAC address does not match what is shown on the Wireless WDS screen. The value of the last entry is off by one. It'll show 2D or 2F instead of 2E, i don't understand why.

    Thanks
    Jim

No you want to enter the wireless mac address of the other routers! (Typo?)

    No, order doesn't matter.

That's weird and possibly part of the problem. The MAC address displayed at the top of the WDS page should match the MAC address on the top of the Status > Wireless page... If they don't, log into the router via telnet or ssh and post the output of the ifconfig command here and someone can tell you what MAC address you should be entering into your other routers.

I had the same problem until I actually looked at the various STATUS screens.

This is not a bug. The WRT54G uses several MAC Addresses. One for the WAN one for the LAN and one for the wireless lan.

Go to status screen and get the wireless mac shown for the router and use that mac to connect with WDS.

    IE: WAN = C303 LAN = C304 Wireless Lan = C305

    Works for me !
