As I posted a few days in the open forum, I cannot get a WPC54g to communicate with a WAP54g when any form of encryption has been set. The advice there is to upgrade the firmware.

There is talk of versions 1.0 and 2.0 of the hardware for a WAP54g. My hardware has no version number on it, only a serial number. Where can I find the version number?

Latest firmware for WAP54g seems to be 2.08, but there is a note that says you cannot upgrade from earlier than 1.09. I have 1.08. Where can I get the download to take me from 1.08 to 1.09 - the official linksys downloads do not seem to carry it?

I can't see drivers for the WPC45g on this site. Are there up upgrades available. The only reference I have is

    a) the CD with the driver says the setup wizard version is 1.35
    b) the wlan monitor utility is at version 1.35
    b) properties under Windows 2000 say driver version is 3.30.15.0

PS - for inexplicable reasons - it has just started to work (but I would still like the answers)
