Need to restart WRT160N to get it to work

    I have a linksys WRT160N and a TP-Link TL-WN851N PCI Wireless adaptor (http://www.tp-link.com/products/productDetails.asp?class=anm&pmodel=TL-WN851N).

When I go for work and come back the internet speed is terribly slow. I get download rates of about 10kb/s. I will then switch off the router (disconnect power) and restart it and then download rates jump to 1-2 mb/s (which should be the speed I ought to be getting).

Both my devices are N so I should be getting the top speed possible from my internet connection (which is 30mbps).

What I would like to know is what happens when I restart the router and is there anyway to ensure that the connection speed does not drop?
