I'm at a loss for what to do. Here's what I'm running:

Dell Pentium III 996 MHz w/384 mb ram.

I am running Windows XP SP2

I got a Linksys wireless b usb 802.11b adapter. It should have been just fine with my system and the network I was going to connect to. It's a secured wireless network.

There's just one problem. The key index values are 1-4 on SP1 or 2 but the network I need to access needs a key index value of 0! I have searched Microsoft's technet and support sites and can find no help with this. I have heard rumor there is a patch or fix but I can't find mention of it anywhere. Surely someone else has had this problem? Is there anyway for me to change the key index values in Windows XP SP2?

Please help me if you can. I really appreciate it. I've searched and searched and I'm going completely mad now. :/

    Thanks!
