I've currently got an Asus RT-N16 running TomatoRAF and I absolutely love it. I have issues with some devices downstairs connecting to WiFi, but I think it's more a device issue and not the router itself. I have an old Netgear DGN2000 Router/ADSL2 combo that I'd like to reuse as an Access Point.

I saw a few threads from googling, mostly stating that Tomato firmware does not support modem functionality. I was hoping someone would have some experience in setting up one of these routers without modem functionality. All I need is a basic Access Point with the switchports functional, I could care less about the ADSL modem.

Any help on which firmware would be appropriate, and any particulars for flashing it would be immensely useful and appreciated.
