I can't seem to find a mention of this. Will Tomato work on the Netgear N300 WNR2000 v3 router?

It won't work on that unit, tomato works for broadcom based units only. Your unit is an Atheros based unit, so it will probably have to be dd-wrt or openwrt if you want to use a 3rd party firmware on it.

Ugh, I wish I had seen your post in time, Mangix. I flashed with the newest version I could find (July 2012) and bricked the router.

    Sorry to hear that.

If you're interested in getting it debricked, I wrote a small tutorial on how to: http://www.techinfodepot.info/index.php/Netgear_WNR2000_3.0#Serial_Recovery

The above link assumes knowledge of getting a serial connection working. What I do is solder on a pin header(already done with the unit I had) and connect a UART adapter to it. Those go for $2-3 on eBay.

hey the same thing that the last person had happened to them happened to me, except i dont have the luxury of returning it. the link is bad and wanted to follow your tutorial to see if i could get my router unbricked and then install that correct dd-wrt firmware.
