I have a problem with my lynksys network adapter on my desktop. I had a message from windows updater that there was updates ready for my comp. I noticed that one was for Lynksys and thought nothing of it! big mistake!!!
from that point to cut a long story short I cannot get on to the internet!

(Also for infomation my laptop is conecting through the router via an internal network card.)

Currently the adapter is connected to the access point but the internet cannot be found!!
The wirless connection status says limited or no conectivity.
"The problem occured because the network did not assign a network address to the computer"

then when I click Details this comes up.

    Physical Address: 00-00-00-00-00-00
    IP Address:
    Subnet Mask:
    Default Gateway:
    DNS Server:
    WINS Server

I have replaces all the numbers with "0" but the rest is as you see it blank!

    Can anyone help???

Sometimes when you update wireless drivers they reset your wireless config. Go back and manually input everything for your connection. If you need to delete the current one and start new.
