    OK, new problem, requesting assistance!

The computer/desktop that has the wireless card installed connects to the internet without a problem. However, when I attempt to look at the network, I get the message that the network isn't available.

Any suggestions? I saw on another post when I searched 'network' that I may need to disable loopback in the 'administration' tab. However, that was for another firmware. Is there a similar config for HyperWRT?

have you allowed sharing on each pc on the network and any firewalls that are on each machine have rules to allow access from the network pcs?

Personally, I see this as another example that Windows networking is not ready for prime time. I see this all the time in Windows networks with no apparent reason for the cause.

Generally, it should fix itself after a time and the box has had a chance to get the necessary broadcast messages from others on the network. The time you have to wait is reset at every restart, however.

It's really telling when you can still bring up Start\Run and type \\[known machine name] or \\[known IP address] and bring up another machine with shared resources but you can't browse the network to "find" said machine.

Newer versions of Windows are better at handling this, but it's still not perfect.
