    Evening folks,

Have a problem with a WRV54G router. Whenever my internet connection drops, or I unplug the dsl modem from the router, my network slows to a crawl. Logons are slower, access to shares and printers are also slow. I think its a DNS issue, but not really sure.

I have the router set to be a DHCP server, but I've also switched it off and set all computers to fixed ip addresses, but to no avail. Any ideas on where to begin?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.
