Does anyone have any wisdom to share with getting a Pocket PC to work properly on a Network?

My network consists of 3 WinXP PC's connected to a WRT54G, and an NSLU2 network attached storage device with a single hard disk attached.

My problem is that, although the Windows XP systems all see the NSLU2 disk, the Pocket PC doesn't (even though it can see the NSLU2 itself).

So it seems that the Pocket PC works differently on the network than the WinXP systems. I can't change much about the Pocket PC, but perhaps there's something I can change in the settings of either the NSLU2 (even an unslung version, for those of you who know that whole scene) or the WRT54G?

Any shared ideas (or better still, successful experiences) appreciated.
