    Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a theme I have been using recently, Its a mixture between two of my favourite themes (cisco theme & modernRed), I own a Asus RT-N16 with toastmans firmware and I wanted to have a theme that used my favourite colour (red), an Asus Logo since my hardware was asus and not cisco and had a few other tweaks.

I came up with the following look, I hope you Asus owners like it (its very easy to adopt other brands like cisco also)

This is an easy custom theme to setup for those that wish to try it, you can follow these steps:

    1. Enable JFFS ( Administration > JFFS)
    2. Enable samba server ( USB and NAS > File Sharing)
    3. connect to the jffs directory on the samba server (you can mount this as a network dirve)
    4. create a folder in the JFFS mount called "theme"
    5. copy the files from asus_red.zip into the theme folder
    6. go to Administration > Admin Access and change the colour theme to "ext/custom.css"
    7. place this script in the INIT tab and save ( Administration > Scripts)
    for f in $(ls -d /jffs/theme/*); do ln -s $f /var/wwwext; done
    8. reboot the router by clicking the reboot link

    @ Nitro

Can you make one for Linksys ?

sure, its actually quite easy, you just replace logo.png (in the theme folder) with what ever image you want to be there. I am currently downloading Mountain lion so I cannot use Photoshop, but you can use this basic Linksys logo for now :)

http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/1743/ <<image has transparent background so it looks invisible when view with a browser with a white background, right click link and save file as.

just save it over logo.png for the desired effect.

hey, I have been making progress on this theme you may want to try out the latest version of the files, they are a bit more streamlined now (about 10KB now / 47KB before)

also I have packed a pre-made linksys version just for you :)

the linksys_red package is only 3.5K versus 42K when compressed now :)
