How many simultaneous connections (attempts) can this router handle without crashing?

Can this router handle 12 simultaneous connection-greedy Torrent users?

Can this router access the lower level knowledge that the DSL modem has? (For example, can it tell whether DSL is up, or does it try to "dial" blindly, trying to establish a PPP session even in the absence of DSL? Can the router access the DSL and ATM line stats from the modem?

What is the expected uptime under constant heavy use (12 P2P users, 1 TB/month, various wireless clients)?

Is there secure remote (WAN) access?

    Thanks.
