no its no range. it redirects from port to port

port range forward does forward the whole range between from and to. so its right

The seperate table for setting WAN and LAN side ports is broke. It will switch ports around (I can set 2525 WAN and 25 LAN and it will flip them around).

interesting. never saw this while testing. can you post screenshots?

Okay, here are the two screenshots. The example I am showing is for port 81 WAN -> 80 LAN

Screenshot 1 Entering information before clicking "Save Settings"
Screenshot 2 After clicking "Save Settings" then, obviously, clicking "Continue" on the settings successful page.

Interesting enough, if I put them in backwards (as in 80->81) it will then keep them the way they are and not flip-flop them. I also tried a random port such as 3331->3332 and does the same thing. Then I tried some real random ports 52->89 and they kept it correctly, though.

This is really odd ... is there a place I can look to see if there is an error message?

Another note ... if I setup port 82->83 and do an iptables -L:

    ACCEPT tcp -- anywhere 192.168.2.3 tcp dpt:83
    ACCEPT udp -- anywhere 192.168.2.3 udp dpt:83

This is exactly how a straight "range" forward lists as well. There is no specific WAN port.

The WAN ports are specified in the NAT table. Use the following command to see:

    iptables -t nat -L -n

(Note I have not yet tested the 10/11/05 build so I can't yet say how well things are/aren't working.)

BrainSlayer is possible to use PPPOE and PPTP in wireless client mode ?
I try but only Automatic configuration DHCP and static IP work in client mode but PPPOE and PPTP also PPTP use DHCP don't work.

    Thanks for this firmware.

    found a little link missing
when you are using the gui "Administration" page, the link to the "Statuts" page is missing,
appears only on this page, others got it.

    that's not something important, though
    ;)

Downloaded and installed Oct 12 version, and I confirm that the port flipping issue is fixed! Thanks!

Now only if businesses could fix problems that quickly with software...

Still getting reboot issues with the latest version when trying to set up a V4 as bridge... :(

Set it as bridge, look at the STATUS > WIRELESS page and it shows this for a few seconds while the WLAN light blinks very fast. CISCCO light is OFF at this moment...

    MAC Address - XXXXXXXXXXXX
    Mode - Client Bridge
    NetworkSSID - airwaves
    DHCP Server - Disabled
    Channel6
    Xmit28 mw
    Rate54 mbps
    AP Signal: 00:14:BF:38:B0:10 rssi -38 noise -75
    Encryption - Disabled

Then the bridge reboots BY ITSELF and I get this, with the CISCO light back ON:

    MAC Address XXXXXXXXXXXX
    Mode - Client Bridge
    NetworkSSID - airwaves
    DHCP Server - Disabled
    Channel6
    Xmit28 mw
    Rate54 mbps
    Encryption - Disabled

Notice the AP SIGNAL part is gone... I have always had this since I got 2 V4 hardware about a month ago and tested the firmware. I thought of waiting since this is a BETA so I decided to try this again with the latest and got the same result.

I have been blaming the firmware for this but could this actually be a hardware problem that is making the BRIDGE reboot and lose the settings?
